Ken White
Green Mountain Direct Cremation Service was founded by Ken White in order to provide a more cost-effective and environmentally-friendly alternative for Vermont families in need. We feel that we provide the best possible service available, and a good value to the families who come to us.
We are located in Windsor, Vermont and we service the entire state of Vermont as well as Hanover and Lebanon, New Hampshire.
For over 40 years, Ken White has assisted families in time of need. He is an ordained Elder in the United Methodist Church. He is a Vermont-licensed funeral director. Ken serves as the Pastor of two congregations: Windsor, VT and Proctorsville, VT.
Ken has a degree in music from the Westminster Choir College in Princeton, NJ and frequently writes hymns. He plays the organ, piano, trumpet and Sousaphone. He took his theological studies at Boston University School of Theology, and Andover Newton Theological School in Andover, MA.
Ken was born and raised in Brattleboro, VT and has two grown children, two grandsons, and one beautiful great-granddaughter. He and his wife Lonnie live in Windsor.
