Dear Ken,

I want to thank you for the great service that you provide. Your empathy and compassion for my Mother was greatly appreciated. The cost of your service is very affordable.

The wooden urn was made of Vermont wood, by a fine craftsman, and it was very beautiful.  I would also like to thank you for handling all the paperwork to Social Security, copies of the death certificate, and certificate for the cemetery when interred.  I would definitely recommend your service.

Sincerely,

Mary Erwin

In our prayers: the Silfies family

SallyAnn and I can’t begin to put into words how much we appreciate your services at the time of our son’s death. Your caring, personal approach at that difficult time was a huge comfort to us and to our daughter Wendi, who was also there. Your comment, “That’s how we went to St. Johnsbury.” - meaning you and Frank – says it all.

Any death in a family is difficult, to lose someone before their time – our son was 46 – is a tragedy. Having someone who is loving, down to earth, and who obviously cares is a huge help when such a tragedy occurs, and you were that person for us.

God bless you for what you do. You are now, and always will be, in our
prayers.

More Feedback

We just received this:

October 12, 2010

Dear Ken,

On behalf of my whole family I want to express my deepest gratitude to
you for the awesome service you provided for us at this difficult time
in our lives.  Your gentle care and concern for each of us, your
patience and sense of humor meant a lot to us as we waited for final
arrival of family before you took Mom.

God bless you for your wonderful service.

Lucille and family of Cora DeLaBruere

Hi Ken,

I wanted to thank you again for all that you did for my mom Joanne
Barney. This whole thing has been so hard, I miss her so much, but
with your help and others this difficult time has been a bit easier.

I was trying to remember who at the hospital gave me the phone numbers
for the local funeral homes, whether it was a nurse, the Chaplin or
Social Worker, but couldn’t. I would love for the hospital to have
your name and phone number to give out to people in need, have you
gone there with your information? I wish everyone going through what
we went through was able to meet you and let you provide the loving
care that you showed us. I can’t express enough how much it meant to
us.

I’ve attached a photo of my mom that Barney send me the other day. It
is a perfect reflection of my mom. She really loved life, and had the
biggest giving heart of anyone that I know. We had a saying, “It’s all
about love” (there is a lengthy story behind it), but it was so true
when it came to my mom. I was truly blessed to have her for my mom.

Thank you again Ken, you will forever be in our hearts.
